Kea is a language learning chatty companion. She talks with you like a friend so you acquire language through conversation, not through a course — the way people picked up their first language: through experience, meaning, and repetition.

You speak one language and talk with Kea in another. She answers in that language, keeps the thread of what you have been talking about, and notices words and phrases you struggle with.

Those words live on a personal Learn List until you start using them well. Topics you have spoken about can be opened again later. There is no lesson plan, no streak, and no classroom.

Kea is multi-functional
You chat, you learn the words that you have difficulties with and the system adapts itself to your interests.
It provides interesting stories and captures your chats as Diary entries.

Personalised learning
Conventional courses recycle the same generic content until it feels boring. Kea builds personalised learning from your own conversations — so practice always belongs to your life, not a textbook script.
The Learn Library is personalised learning content: the words and phrases you struggle with stay visible until you use them well.
Story Time: describe any story you like; Kea writes it in the language you are learning. Tap words into your Learn Library.
Your Daily Diary is a foreign-language personal diary drawn from real chats: review what mattered to you, in the language you are learning.

## How it works

- Talk: You talk with Kea and her friends hands-free. They reply as companions, in the language you are acquiring. You can choose a character and shape her mood as you talk.
- Learn List: When you struggle with a word or phrase, Kea keeps it on a Learn List. Items leave when you start using them well in conversation.
- Topics: Things you have spoken about are remembered so you can continue a conversation later.
